Here is a list of guides for guidelines on food and vitamins after VSG surgery. I take no credit for these, and they are just for my own information and for me to keep up with as I travel on my VSG journey. http://www.sleeveguide.com/uploads/1/7/9/4/1794785/dietguidevged42006feb.pdf http://www.northwestobesitysurgery.com/pdf/sleeve-gastrectomy-diet.pdf http://www.cornellweightlosssurgery.org/pdf/dietary_guidelines_sleeve_gastrectomy.pdf
  2. Congrats on the great weight loss!
  3. You and I are on the same boat. I just started month two of my 6MSD. I am impatient, but at the same time the odds are good my insurance will pay. I hope we both have great news to look forward to in September.
  4. If you check Tiffykins blog, she has a list of AWESOME questions.
  5. I literally LOLed. I loved it. I am glad your experience went well. Congrats on your sleeve.
  6. My surgeon is the same way, but I am hoping they do not feel the same way about toe nail polish. My feet look horrible without something...
  7. After you click the link, it says "Service Unavailable."
  8. Congrats! I am so glad you found something.
  9. I agree with Tiffykins. I would not take this lying down if you see him again. Especially, if you are still this angry. I hate prejudice with a firey passion, and even if that did not change his mind about him opening up his mouth before he says something so insulting, I would feel better.
  10. I did the same thing. The office I worked with was actually very kind and totally understood. I hope you have the same experience!
  11. Yay! Congratulations! I can't even imagine how excited you are. That is just awesome.
  12. Dillards, Torrid... Oh, if you have bridal shops in your city like David's Bridal check the clearance racks. They have plus size wear for a great discount that look really nice. I found a beautiful red dress for a formal New Year's Eve party there.
  13. Thank you for the link! Wow, I can't believe there are so many good recipes. I am excited to try some.
  14. Oh, wow, I am so sorry. I know everything will get better, just try to get through it. You can do this!
  15. Wow, congrats! Good luck waiting for the approval. I cannot wait to be where you are now.
  16. Just like the previous response said, preop and postop diets vary widely. I would definitely follow your particular surgeons advise. Good luck with the surgery!
  17. Haha, that is fabulous! Congratulations on the weight loss. If all else fails, pull out the measuring tape.
  18. Wow, I am so glad I found this thread. It is really inspiring to read a little bit about each of you wonderful ladies stories.
  19. Aw, that is so cute! And look at all the tiny details. They actually look quite yummy!
  20. This is a really good thread to read. I feel like I have learned a lot. There are so many great people on this forum willing to help. I am definitely less worried about eventually being sleeved. (I am a real worrier)
  21. Congratulations, that is so awesome. I just hope I get to hear the same good news in five months. Just have to get through the last hoop.
  22. Wow, you are such an inspiration.
  23. Congrats! I am so happy for you.
  24. Wow, this is great! Thank you so much. This is such a great list for cutting carbs! I will definitely have to try some of these.
  25. LMBO, that is hilarious. I couldn't believe it for a second, but soon as a read it again true laughter. Thank you and congratulations on your awesome weight loss!
