  1. It depends on the insurance company and when they check your weight to determine coverage. The only worry would be having too low of a BMI, but I would call and ask if they check your weight at the beginning or end of the 6MSWL. And I agree with the favoredone, normally, there is at least an ECG, blood tests, upper GI, and then a chest x-ray.
  2. I would start wondering if their mechanism of action would change, especially with a smaller stomach. Aren't some of those delayed release?
  3. Haha, it's like finding Waldo with bones. Congrats on the NSV!

It is a slippery slope, but supposedly, the carbonation can cause stretching. Also, the carbs, calories, and sugar are not conducive to losing weight.
  5. OMG! I am so excited for you. Congratulations!!
  6. Awesome! Congrats, hope you get a date soon!
  7. Congrats on getting a date!
  8. Wow, today must be one of those days for the scale. I am sorry the scale hasn't moved, but sometimes that happens. Just know it will move again. Here is an article that I think really explains stalls well. http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html
  9. Aw, I am so sorry, but things get better. Just try to keep your spirits up.
  10. It all depends on your body. I like this article in explaining stalls, http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html

  15. Not bad. Great stats for bread with good protein content.
  16. Even though this is for DSers, I like sharing it because it is logical scientific explanation of what may be going on in your body. http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html

  18. I don't have any advice except to maybe crush the vitamins and spoon them in some yogurt. Also, congrats on your super awesome weight loss!
  19. I am sorry you are having these issues, but you might be getting more protein than you think. Have you tried measuring out your portions and counting the protein? Also, have you thought about cottage cheese and maybe tuna salad?
  20. Hey, that is in my book! Congrats.
  21. Congrats! I hope I can say something similiar!

Haha, that makes me feel better that I am not the only one using a sippy cup.
  23. The hormones can cause crazy fluctuations with periods, but I don't know more than that. I am sure someone else will chime in.
  24. Yeah, I am starting to think I won't be one of those people who isn't hungry. My tummy is soooo growling and I am taking my acid reducer as soon as I wake up.
  25. I lost 20% of my excess weight during my 6 months supervised weight loss and pre-op diet, so 27.4 lbs. None of the weight loss was required for my surgery, but I wanted to have a pretty liver and get as much weight off as I could before surgery so I had less to lose after. I did low carb for about 5 months, so I ate pretty much everything as long as I could keep my carbs under 30g a day.
