  1. Haha, I wish. I am probably still a little swollen, and I am a little forgetful about my fluids. But that's awesome you are doing so well!
  2. That's awesome. I hope one day I will be where you are.
  3. Weight gain should be few and far between with mirena. The medication does not really leave the uterus. Unlike other birth controls, mirena is a localized birth control that does not enter the blood stream.
  4. I can't drink plain water. It has to be a vitamin water, sobe, or crystal light.
  5. I am so happy to see you doing so well after everything that happened. CONGRATS!
  6. Love my mirena. It has stopped my period and I don't notice any mood swings or cramping like I used to get before I had it.
  7. Haha, that's awesome, but you are so right. Don't diminish your accomplishment. You are working it!
  8. Ooh, Kelly you are speaking my language that sounds delish!
  9. Haha, I say for sure. I used to have one at 271 lbs, but ever since I've hit the 230s I haven't seen it. The anesthesiologist even said, I have a skinny neck! Ha.
  10. So far, I have lost a couple inches everywhere, such as in the arms, thighs, waist, hips, and breasts (sigh). I am a quintessential pear shape also. I can't wait to lose a little more in the hips so I can fit into my smaller jeans. Well, you could always start taking measurements now.
  11. My pre-op diet was quite similar and my surgeon said beans were not allowed.
  12. Haha, sat with my boyfriend and mom and worried. My surgery was pushed back to 1:00 p.m. from 11:30 a.m. Bring something to read or to play with to take your mind off it a little depending when you have to get to the hospital.
  13. Congrats! Welcome to the September Sleevers! We are so happy to have you.
  14. Wow, congrats on the amazing weight loss and so many non-scale victories. You are totally owning your surgery.
  15. The day I found out both my mother and father had diabetes, and I was walking straight toward that with my weight gain. And I couldn't stand to look in the mirror anymore or go out with my friends like normal. I was depressed about my weight, and it was ruining my life.
  16. I think Mellaella and KellyL, sometimes people are just searching for support and information in making the decision to get the sleeve. And there are somany factors that may cause an individual to fall away from the forum. You could always shoot them a message if you are curious about their story. I have done that to many people here, and they are almost always willing to answer your questions.
  17. Congrats, that is really inspirational. It really is important to savor the little things.
  18. Yeah, that pisses me off too. I really hope he finds a new PCP.
  19. That's so weird. Have you called your surgeon's office to see if they can have that fixed with your insurance?
  20. That's awesome. Congrats!
  21. That's awesome! Congrats on the weight loss.
  22. Congrats on getting a date! It will be really great to have someone so close to you also sleeved. It seems like you have a great support system.
  23. Ah, still, you look fabulous! Oh, I think your link is broken for the studio website.
