  1. Happy 47th Birthday lisa140!

  2. I also had to do that, It did go quickly. I went to my pcp and it seemed ridiculous going so many times for very little results. I may have lost 10lbs during the six months

  3. how are you doing? Did you have surgery? I am also from Rockford.

  4. I love Dr. Shayani. He is willing to answer any and all questions you have. You can email him and he responds. He has a kind and caring personality. He works out of several hospitals, so my experience will be different from yours. The insurance I had dictated a 6month diet with my primary care physician. The diet after your week post op is Protein, he wants you to eat meat, Beans, cheese, Protein Bars, and nuts only. I have had good success with it. I am down 55 lbs since my surgery may 2nd. Everyone is different, so do not expect the same. I also incorporated circuit training 2 nights and walking 4 nights (3-4 Miles).
  5. yes I am still trying to figure out if I write here where does it go?

  6. wow...these messages aren't very user friendly, are they? lol maybe i'm still getting used to the program....

  7. She was listed on this Doctors of weight loss website. The md I had is also on it and I just noticied her, she was doing a micro lapband procedure where the instruments used are smaller and if I remember correctly the incision where the band is inserted is done in the belly button region. Your weight loss is great. I have been trying to keep myself eating only what my MD said to. It has worked wel

  8. dr emma patterson appears to be a great doctor, what is your opinion? How has it been since surgery? Are you eating only protein?

  9. I have type 2 diabetes and have been hypothyroid for 20 yrs. I was banded may 2 this year and to date have lost 55lbs. Not everyone is the same, I can only speak for myself. I would think as long as you are on the correct dose you should be able to lose weight. I actually had to decrease my synthroid dose after surgery after my pcp checked my tsh and it was 0.
  10. I was banded in may of 2011, looking to converse with someone who had lapband surgery and needs to lose a lot of weight
  11. It sounds like everything is going well. Keep up the good work.

  12. hello, how are you doing? I had surgery on may 2 this year. I was wondering how you have adjusted to your new diet.
