I am looking into this option.  My doctor said a year ago that I should think about it but I have never been on for surgery.  I started a personal weight loss journey, and lost like 50 lbs. in like 6 months, but over the winter I put like 25 lbs. back on.  I have been exercising and just complete the Peachtree on July 4th, 2011 which is a 10K walk/run.  I walked it but it showed me just how out of shape I am.  I completed the course, but feel out from heat exhaustion afterwards.  I wanted to join this forum so I could see other peoples stories of success, and see how this might help me with my weightloss struggle.
