  1. So I'm 7 weeks out and lost 29lbs, well I went to see my surgeon and he told me that I haven't lost enough that I need to exercise and reduce my carbs. Well I haven't exercised but as far as food I can barely eat anything and carbs are the last thing if I even have some. I will say I can't digest any sorce if protein but all of my blood counts and levels are fine, just had that checked last week. One thing I found that I really like is bananas is that a bad thing?

  12. Day of surgery 11/28/2011 - 227lbs One week Post Op - 215lbs Today - 212.8 lbs Im not stepping back on the scale until my next appt on the 20th... I haven't been able to get much Protein if any down but I know it will get better.
  13. I didn't have a stool until about 5days after surgery and that's because there isn't anything in our system to expell but liquids, my surgeon told me in the hospital this would happen and not to be concerned. You will have a very loose stool at first and its coming just be patient as long as you don't feel constipated. Congratulations on your sleeve, im 12 days out and each day I have a little wet one (sorry) but im ok with that.
  14. Im 12 days post op and I had the same feeling you have, just sip when you can and remember that you have still have alot of Fluid in you from the IV but each day gets better. I can now consume more liquids but I still get the hic ups when my sleeve is full so I so by that....... that sensation may be a sign of fullness. It really does get better Ann
  15. I did infact hav the JP drain, I was sleeved on 11/28/2011 and the drain remained in until yesterday 12/6/2011. The only issue I had with it was the removal of it (the most uncomfortable experience I have ever had) but its out now and I actually feel much better.
  16. I was officially sleeved on Monday November 28, 2011... these last few days have been the absolute hardest but each day gets better. Im getting more liquids in today but the Protein is still kinda hard because of the sweetness but over all im happy with my decision. I am so appreciative of this website because it has helped me along my journey. I haven't stepped on the scale out of fear but I also have some serious incision pains but like I said Im happy..... I have officially joined the losers bench Ann
  17. Im getting dressed and will be headed to the hospital @ 9am and surgery is scheduled for 11. To my other fellow banana Babes I will keep you all in my prayers and wish each and everyone much success as you travel this very same road...... losers bench here we come. I will check back in soon and give everyone an update. Much Love, Ann
