November 30th

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums. I just got my surgery date, November 30th. Excited, scared, anxious, worried..all of these emotions simultaneously. I keep reminding myself that this is a marathon and not a sprint.

Yay, congrats on your date!! Time will fly.. it'll be here before you know it! Those emotions are copetely normal, haha. It'll be all you think about! It definatly was for me anyway. Just try to keep thinking about all the sweet clothes you will be able to buy! And normal size clothes!!!

Hi HD, my date is November 30th too. I guess this is my official de-lurking post ;-)

I've been working through this process since April of 2010 -- medical, dietician, psych & more medical visits & evals, a 12-week healthy eating class, and finally approved by insurance. Can't believe it's finally a go.

I was afraid of the surgery ending up right around the holidays and lo and behold that's exactly what happened... but I guess that's how it's meant to be.

I'm feeling all the same feelings that you are!

My date is Nov 30th with Dr Ramos Kelly...anyone else going to be there then?

My surgery is November 30th as well but I am having my surgery done in Southern Illinois by Dr. Sudakaran at New Life Weigh Loss center.

How exciting. Mine is the 29th and I am so anxious. I want to do it already. Best of luck :)

My surgery is the 29th also in Mexico. I am going to Dr. Aceves, who are you going to?

I am going with Dr Almanza. I fly into San Diego on the 28th at like 3pm. You flying that way too?? man I wish we had the same doctor. I am going by myself and I am more worried about that than the whole surgery itself..lol

Hello all November Sleevers!!! I will be sleeved this Wednesday, November 30th. I am very anxious and excited I'm on my 2nd day of only clear liquids pre-op diet. Can't wait for this to be over with my stomach won't stop making noises...lol. Anyway I just wanted to share my date with everyone with hopes to following everyones progress as we go through this journey together. Also I just found out I will need a catheter... so not looking forward to that. Anyone guys on here experience a catheter in surgery?
