  1. Just wanted to post my progress thus far. I finally hit the onderland goal and wanted to post how I did it. I started out at 275lbs and as of this morning I weighed 198lbs. I've lost 77 lbs in 3 months time. I have not once acheived my goal for protein and water intake since beginning this journey. I am unable to consume protein shakes (I throw up immediately) and I was never really a H20 drinker to begin with. That being said I do get around 50oz of liquid and about 25g of protein a day. The way I am able to acheive successful weight loss is by working out everyday. I do at least 60 minutes of intense CARDIO everyday and weight lift at least twice a week. I have not had a stall yet. I can pretty much eat anything I want but I do sometimes eat to fast and I end up throwing it up. I don't want anyone to compare there results with mine but my intent was to just share my success story and see if there are any others that compare. I am very thankful for this forum in general it has helped me tremendous in achieving my goals so far.

  6. Hello All, Just curious if anyone else is being Sleeved on November 30? My surgeon is Dr. Marshall out of the Peoria Surgical Group. In Peoria, IL. I have the medical card and it took approximately 5 months from Orientation to actual Surgury date to get approved for anyone wondering. I'm really excited at this stage and can't wait to begin my journey
  7. Has anyone had Illinois medical card (IDPA) and had the VSG surgery approved? I'm currently in the Peoria Surgical Group program with Dr.Marshall and was looking for any data on him or how long the approval process takes.
  8. @ Yoli76 : Where surgeon did you go with and did you have Medicaid?
  9. Does anyone know of a surgeon who accepts the medical card (IDPA, Medicaid) in Illinois that will perform Lap Band surgery? Please anyone with information would be great. I am new to Forums so not sure how to navigate. Everything I have found lately was posting years ago. Does anyone have an updated list please.
