Hello,
After my original sleeve back in November ,2011. I had lost 105 lbs within 4 months postsurgery. But I was always hungry and I was still able to eat significately more than I should with this surgery. Grant it was still significately less than pre surgery. I just chalked it up to everyones body is different.
After about 1 year post op. I started noticing I could eat more and more. I could eat half and frozen pizza and then a hour later I would be starving again. I was able to slow my weight gain thru the last couple years by remaining very active. I play basketball, softball, MMA, and workout daily. But I have still regained 33 lbs to date. This is very frustrating. So I decided to see another bariatric surgeon in my area. and I had a Upper GI and an upper Endoscopy done. He confirmed my sleeve had deifinetly streched and he advised I have it redone. Thus my new journey begins again....
I am being Re-sleeved on Sept. 18th, 2014.
