I'm so close to goal. The last 10# have been a little challenging. I've just been so anxious to see the scale start with a "12.." #, I couldn't believe it when I stepped on the scale today and saw this for the first time since I have been in probably 6th or 7th grade!!! Truly amazing!!! The scale was 129.8, but hopefully by morning it will be down a few more ounces to lock that in solid!
Just 9# to go!!! I know that maintenance is going to be a challenge, but I'm ready!

I had an appointment with my surgeon and she was telling me how good I was looking and that my hair was looking really nice. I told her I still would like to loose about 10 more lbs. She told me not to loose any more than the 10 lbs. So I very excited to be here at the end and so now, it's almost time for maintenace. I weighed 154 lbs with my cloths on and at home I weigh in at 149 lbs. Yayyyyyyy! So happy and also scared that I won't be able to maintain my weight. If it's not one thing, it's another.

One year ago today, I was given one year to live if I didn't get a lot of my extra weight off me in a hurry. It's only 6:40pm, but I'm hoping I'll live until Midnight.
Just thought I'd share that huge milestone with my family here. I'll Celebrate with an extra long workout tomorrow morning! And a cup of decaf coffee!!

Well it has officially been one week since my sleve surgery!
I have been so lucky with the ease of this whole process. Dr. Aceves and his team were wonderful. I had no gas pain and very little pain at my incisions. The worst part so far was trying to choke down the nasty blue stuff for the leak test!
I am still on Clear liquids for a few more days. I am doing my best to get all the liquids and Protein in, it seems to get easier every day. I have been very lucky!
The best news is that as of this morning I have lost 21 pounds since surgery! I could not believe my eyes!
I am so so so glad to finally be on that damn loser's bench!
