It could be an infected port site so I'd suggest going to the doc's office and have it checked out.

So glad you are feeling better. Even though it's hard remember to keep up your strength and eat! Surgery is a major assault on your body and without proper nutrition it will rebel and take longer to heal.

Take it easy so you can heal be gentle with yourself. Also, no underwire bras. I went through 2 weeks of pain before I was told to go wireless. Suger free banana popscicles saved my life after surgery. I ate so many of them! Helped with the sore throat ifrom intubation. Shonette is right about the gas strips they really work. Eat now while you get the chance. Friday I went to the surgeon's office to ask about some pain I was having and before you knew it I had had a fill. I only ate yogurt that morning and I was soooooooooooo freaking hungry for two days. I'm still only on mushies today. I can't wait until tomorrow when i can have solids.
