I am glad to hear that you are doing well. Take your time and allow your body to heal. Right now you should not worry so much about the amount of food you can take in, but keeping your body hydrated with fluids is important. Also, remember the band is very swollen from the procedure so baby it and yourself. With this lapband race- so and easy is the best way. Taking the gas stripes really helped after my surgery and also drinking warm fluids also gave me so comfort. I do wish you the best of luck.

Good Luck! I just got banded yesterday. Not too many issues but one REALLY sore incision site. Makes it really hard to sleep but I am not laying down a lot. All the liquid intake has been fine. I hope this one incision site is better tomorrow.

Take it easy so you can heal be gentle with yourself. Also, no underwire bras. I went through 2 weeks of pain before I was told to go wireless. Suger free banana popscicles saved my life after surgery. I ate so many of them! Helped with the sore throat ifrom intubation. Shonette is right about the gas strips they really work. Good luck to both of you new bandit's!
