  1. I went for over 2 years without one. Was going to be given meds (which I had taken before to induce one, I absolutely did NOT want that as they made me not even like myself) A month before I was to take the medicine, I had a period. I've had one now about every month. Not "regular" but at least I'm now having one. The last was 33 days apart. They are never 28 days like the norm. I totally believe it's from having lost weight. You could totally start having them on your own before long. Now I'm older things want to start working right, it's crazy.
  2. awh thanks. Ya know my highest weight was 292, I was 267 the day of surgery a month later I was 253, now thursday we will see but according to "my scales" only down 10 more lbs. I can't get discouraged. I WILL do this. Soooo thankful each of you have replied and offered me this support. I have re-read what you all said again and it's sinking in. I'm excited to get my second fill this thursday. I'm drinking, exericising more and measuring MORE and now i'm planning more. It sure helps....

  10. approved by the insurance? or the Dr.? I wouldn't think so. I do believe it would have to do with your initial weight at your first weight in. I assume they go by that. They did with me.
  11. I too love carbs, I think it's mind over matter. My body craves them. I am trying to figure out ways to get away from those bad habbits. I'm sorry that I dont have any advice for you. I need advice myself sometimes. I know you can do it. Would it help if maybe you tell yourself okay once in a while, I can have a lil hersey's kiss? I mean this is life. I'm not gonna go my entire life without having a bite of something, but I do know that it's not the best thing to do daily if i want to see a WL. Is it bothering you that your shouldn't have it and then it makes you want it more? that's me anyways. good luck.
  12. Afternoon I always weigh more. I hate that they are doing this to you. telling you one thing and doing another. and this person shouldn't be RUDE to you, your paying them. Not the other way around. Why is it so important to loose 6lbs by then anyways. TOM and everything can reflect on how the scales read. I imagine you are agrrivated. But just remember this is YOUR DREAM and you CAN and WILL do this. Just don't let them get to you. You can do this! Give it your all and you'll be banded and that will be behind you in no time. Keep pushing forward and don't let them get to you! You don't need that stress! Hang in there kiddo
  13. Yes it works. You have to look at it as a tool. Protein first, exercise etc. It's not a miracle fix all. If you go into it with a positive attitude and follow what the Dr. tells you to do, drink, exercise and eat right then of coarse. It cuts your calorie intake tremendously. Will a cookie pass thru? YeS! So it's about making good choices and using it as the tool that it is. If you do follow what you need to do, it will most def work. Good luck with your decision!
  14. well what height? i mean that is nuts! I wore a size 6 at like 130lbs. - I think who ever dreams this stuff up needs a reality check!
  15. I lost a friend the very next day after my surgery but ya know what i found out, she wasn't my friend in the first place. I think it takes time for people to adjust to our changes as much as it does us. Don't sweat it. You're gonna do wonderful and more than likely you'll have a LOT of support. Not much longer now. You'll be so happy!
  16. I have heard good things about him. I had Dr. Spaw, another wonderful Dr. with the team
