Are you reffering to Deaconess WLS?

If you find one, please spread the word. I, too, am looking for a support group in Mt. Vernon, Marion, or Carbondale.

There is a support group at Herrin Hospital. We meet the third Thursday at 7:00.

Thanks SOOO much for the info. I'm having my surgery 10/26 at Barnes West. That's where the support group meets. Too far to go. Herrin sounds much better. Maybe I'll see you there!

BTW - when did you get your band? How are you doing with it? I can't wait!!

I don't see Dr. Ahuja. I go to Dr. Minkin in St. Louis. I was under the assumption that when Dr. Ahuja joined the program he would be taking patients from doctors in St. Louis. You will need to call his office. I don't see a problem with you transferring. I transferred to St. Louis when Dr. Argotte left.

You don't need to be a patient of his to come to the support meetings. You can contact Heather at the hospital for those.
