I have BCBS of TN and the coordinator of the weight loss center told me the same thing. I thing during that time we will learn to eat better and exercise. Sorry I did not have any better news, I am just glad they pay for it, I will jump all the hoops they want

Hello, I have been a way for a while, got discouraged with the insurance fight. Now I am back, I am going to Galesburg,IL, My first seminar is 2-28-2013, really looking forward to it, my insurance requires 6month Dr. supervised weight loss so after the seminar then I will learn my next step... I have been researching the lapband for a few years and my sister-in-law has been banded 5years and she is doing good she had share the good and the cautions. So I will read everyone that post and I will share my journey as well, I am married to a wonderful man of almost 40years we have 4 children, two dogs and a puppy (turd) we have 12 grands and 3 great grands. So I hope this will help to get to know us better.

I don't know, I work for a hospital and In our network one hospital stated that they did the surgery for those two, and I said if they do it for them I would fight for mine. Let's keep up dating on our progress Audrey

Hi, I'm new here and I'm scheduled to see my Dr. on 4/13 and everyone else I can see. I have 4 children and 8 grandchildren 4dogs and 1grandchildren dog. I have sleep apnea high blood pressure, and gerd. My husband has not yet agreed but he does not know is that his sister has had the surgery and she has been a great support to me. Only draw back is due to our insurance the closest hospital is 6.5 away. I will have to look for a Dr. close to do my fills. I have not been to a seminar yet sort of backward but I want to get it done and be on my way. Thanks for having me.:help: Rottiemama
