I've lost weight and now my pants are too......LONG?!?
Yaya pants are tooo long??? maybe your legs are too short!! when i was "heavier" i had to pull my pants up high to go over my big tummy now that my big tummy is gone - the pants get pulled right up - and the "excess" legs would hang "over" oh well, i loved it as i was growing out of my clothes go to the thrift shop for your in between clothes as you lose weight 82 lbs down - 1/2 way to goal what an amazing job keep up the good work kathy congrats

Coffee?
Jessicaz my NUT told me i could have one cup of coffee a day its really weird though i always loved the smell of coffee (I would make it sometimes for DH) but i never drank much post sleeve - i find that i do have that cup since its nice and hot - it gives my "little" tummy a good feeling i drink plenty of Water later - and as mentioned coffee not a diuretic I reread your post - and i see you are allowed to drink it, just don't overdue i think thats good advice to follow if we don't listen to our NUT - OMG i shutter to think what could happen to us good luck newbie kathy

Are you getting a new driver's license or work ID since losing weight or once you reach goal?
buplee I wish i had kept my old picture my DH (his name is tom)needed to go to DMV - i had reached goal and i said to myself "hmmmm, maybe i'll get a new license to show the new and improved me " gave my old license to the guy at the counter told him my weight story, he went to get a lady, turned out she also had the sleeve it was great talking to her - comparing stories little off topic i didn't tell anyone about my pending WLS except immediate family I didn't know how people would react my paranoia crept in saying will people be watching my every bite, and when and how much weight i have lost - didn't want to go there Now i tell everyone proudly about my WLS - people love hearing the story - no one judges, i just hear nice things i've told everyone except the lamp post on my corner hmmmm, maybe after this post i'll go outside and tell it toooo kathy
-
So excited

Sliders
TinyTerry A slider is something you can eat easily without making your tummy feel full Popcorn is a slider for me. (you are too early PO - don't have any popcorn til doc gives the ok) anyways, they have those small individual bags that have 100 calories each i'll have a bag once in a while, (thats ok) - but then i make another bag - and i have even done 3 bags at a sitting ok, ok guys - my big confession for the day ahhhhhhhh, thats a load off my shoulders another big slider for me are pistachio nuts (i'm a little nutty anyways ) they are good for you - 28 would make a serving welllll.....i've indulged in quite a few more than that i've basically stopped eating both of the above - too easy for me to keep eating - don't want to tempt myself, keeping that stuff around in moderation (as anything) both popcorn and pistachios are fine but old habits can die hard, knowing i/you can't control ourselves over a certain food is 1/2 the battle i choose not to have any around your comment/quesion about shakes (Protein?) being a slider "amuses" me some people like the shakes (not me) but the concern that shakes are a slider???who would want to drink too many of those? good luck 32 lbs down lookin' good newbie kathy congrats

Need to loose ten pounds
rocknrollmama many docs tell their patients to lose X amount of weight prior to WLS put yourself on a liquid diet drink Protein shakes, stuff like that post WLS - you are gonna be drinking like that for awhile - so give yourself a jump start you'll get used to the Protein drinks, get used to the liquid phase you are going to have to endure sooner than later you can lose this weight - your success also shows doc how determined you are to having the WLS, following the ruies et al good luck take care kathy

Sad NSV
Heyher sob, sob as billy joel would say "only the good die young " sounds like those jeans are super special in your heart  i would keep them as a "reminder" of days past i never kept my old clothes, i wish i had when i reached goal - i had nothing to show from the past i went to the plus size area at Kohl's pulled out the 2X blue jeans i always bought (common pair of jeans, easy to find) went into the changing room, took my jeans off and put the big ones on - i just stared at myself in disbelief then i took them off, put my regular jeans back on - with the 2X over them - i didn't know who was in the mirror bought the 2X - walked in a daze to cash register, and sat in my car for about 10 minutes it was an out of body experience i am keeping those jeans forever in my closet kathy

weight
keea LOL you are definitely NOT the only one that does daily weigh ins if i had a donut - ahhhhh i mean a Protein shake for everyone that weighs every day - i could open my own store!!!! "i get upset if i dont loss weight... crazy" mannnnny people tell you/me to hide the scale, it will drive you crazy - get rid of it et al if you are watching the scale too much - being upset if it doesn't move correctly - then i would "make" myself/force myself to get on the scale only once a week that being said.......... i have always weighed daily, and will probably continue to do so I need to make sure that i'm staying at the right weight it fluctuates sometimes - 2-3 lbs at the most won't let the weight gain get any higher people have been shot for less as far as the mood thing - i don't know, i never had that problem - (cuz i'm so wonderful, sweet and perfect!! ) but i hear stuff about hormones maybe affecting different things good luck kathy

The Home Stretch!
Sherri297LOL you remind me of myself when i go to the line in the grocery store that says "15 items" i am the one that will go there with about 20 items i always jokingly say to the cashier "I hope i don't get "in trouble/arrested for being here"!!!! one person promised not to turn me in, THIS TIME!!!! go ahead - enjoy the veterans board i won't tell anyone that you haven't posted 100 posts yet!!!! 100 lbs down - congrats btw - i'm pretty sure other people sneak in too!!!! nsquared 114 weight loss!!!! great!!!! sorry you are at a stall but......you do know that your stall will eventually break - and you will lose those 40 darn lbs sorry you are at a stall but......you do know that your stall will eventually break - and you will lose those 40 darn lbs good luck kathy

7 months out and falling off the wagon, help!
kristikay i'm full of that!!! - (encouragement silly! ) Realizing you need to get back on board (accidental pun ) telling yourself - and your fellow sleevers your situation it took courage to do that - I see you are "full of it" too!! as OP said, and will in the future - go back to basics Protein shakes (gag, gag ) but you should start there you'll get lots of necessary protein track anything and everything you put in your mouth - even if its that one m&m drink, drink, drink and then drink more eat your healthy chicken, fish et al portion control used to be my biggest weakness measure your food - be accountable to yourself with MFP i know, i know, you fell off the wagon (hope you didn't hurt yourself ) you have been successful - good for you you have such a pretty, smiling face - (its contagious!!!) I can see it in your eyes how much you want this!!! the determination, et al many/most/all of us have slipped up a bit but i see you are proudly standing!!!! all set to go forward!!!! good luck bud kathy congrats on your weight loss
