My stall is over and I was able to wear a sun dress that I haven't worn in three years. Great early birthday present for me.

When you lose weight, you gain confidence. Do not be embarrassed of this! It is okay to feel good about ourselves and our accomplishments.

I haven't weighed in FOREVER... I think it's time to get on the scary scale. I think I'm hot without the scale however

Surgery went well, Sent one night in the hospital. Home now in a little pain but it's getting better!

180 AS OF THIS MORNING!!!! ahhhhhhhh feels so good

So I have decided to change my final goal to 165 instead of 150, I am 5'8" and I don't think I would look right at 150 lbs, I think I would be way too skinny? I have a sister that is only 5'3" if even that, and she bounces from 155-160 and she is SKINNY, somedays I think she looks too skinny and she and I look a lot alike, except I am taller? So I just feel for my height I don't want to look sickly skinny? So 165 sounds like a perfect size for me?

2.26 mile walk/jog last night, followed by 50 min of upperbody strength training. Feel great - sore but great!

Well i can't believe it , got my approval letter from blue cross, blue shield yestereday!! It took less than a week for approval Sept 25, here I come! wonderful news, so happy!!!

Insurance approved! Now my surgeon is on vacation for two weeks so I have to wait to get surgery date.

down to 215, only 65 lbs to my final goal. all i can say is wow!!!

Frustrated.....I have done everything that I needed to, but the insurance company just keeps throwing a wrench into the process......

3.5 post op and I think the "Honeymoon" is finally over. Scale didnt move this month, actually it did go down a few but now its back to where I started. Why is it when I get a fill I am sooooo good with restriction for the first 2 weeks and then BAM - its over?!?!?!?!? Feeling disappointed

One week out from my surgery! WHOOP WHOOP! Feeling great! I can't believe how I feel . I haven't taken so much as a Tylenol since I left the hospital. I had no pain ( except when they took the drain tube out), only lasted a minute) the full liquid diet has been going good, however I don't think I am going to want anything sweet for a long long long time after I can actually eat something!! Why is all the protein shakes, sugar free stuff all so sickening sweet? Oh we'll I really can't complain. I still can't believe that I've had my surgery and I feel this good I keep pinching myself to make sure it's all real! Here's to hoping that those who are having a rough time will have an easier time. My new favorite THIS TOO SHALL PASS

I am so afriad to post on the forums. I left every vsg Facebook group because the bullying and self rightousness was over the top.

I've been approved by my insurance company, I finished my pre-surgical testing and I have a surgery date of 9/16 and I'm finally letting myself get excited.
