  1. My boyfriend thinks the change was too drastic. I had to tell him about my sneaking food in. He really thought I didn't eat a lot. I told him that everyday after work I would go to McDonalds and get two meals and eat them. I had gotten to the point where I was hiding eating from him and everyone. I could eat 8 pieces of chicken, 3 biscuts and two large sides no problem. I told him while I know this process may seem drastic, if I kept going I would die either from a heart attack or killing myself, After my binge eating, I would feel so sad I was borderline suicidal. I am so happy that I have taken this step, and I will be going to OA and my support groups, He is skinny and can eat anything, He doesn't understand,, but he will feel the benefit one day when we are having sex and I can finally be back on top without being super embarrassed. Skinny people never understand.
  2. Incision pain still sucks. Gas pain still sucks. Thankful for this site. Yesterday read a post about guy who went to hospital for dehydration coupled with another post where someone could drink a lot right after surgery. So today I am trying my best to get these damn fluids in. I am feeling good with 1/4 cup of fluids in 15 minutes. I probably could do more, but I don't want to push it too far. Still no sign of farts, which I feel something a coming, but I will just hang tight, Tried some Mylanta, but it is so gross. I would rather have the pain. Wish there was something better. I read the posts today about people not losing enough, I am 5'10" and weigh 290 one week before surgery and then 284 before surgery. I have no scale and don't want on and if I lose only 20 pounds I will be happy because when I would eat a whole pizza I would hate myself. So I don't even care about being super skinny. I just don't want to feel that feeling after I leave an all you can eat place. That feeling is the worst.
  3. This is good to know. I will just wait to poop.
  4. What are your complications? I am sorry to hear about your troubles. Do you know boogie size your doctore used?
  5. My inision pain is the worst!!! I mean terrible!!! Sharp shooting like if I move to much they are going to split open and I will die!
  6. 2 days out and my incisions on the right side hurt like helll. Sharp shooting pain. Gas pain too. All and all this sucks, but I am not hungry! So if it takes a few weeks to feel like i did too many crunhes oh well! FAT NO MORE! I have a hard time even wiping myself after the bathroom. I haven't cried because there is relief when I am in bed, but moving...walking...wish I didn't have to.
  7. As an expert pooper I really want to know when I will get my pooping skills back! This gas is so terrible! Rumble Rumble Rumble and no poop...no burps!! I have a scarf wrapped around my belly for when I walk. I am not sure doctors really understand that we have big droopy bellies and they just hang out there. When I had breast reduction surgery i had to wear a surgical bra. I feel like we should have a surgical belt to help keep our tummy in place. The incision pain is horrible. When will that get better? Yesterday i freaked out a little because i was able to eat a whole popsicle. Seemed like too much liquid. Also when I did my upper GI yesterday after my third sip I threw up. I was in rush hour traffic and was sick by the time I got home. I also have a little shortness of breath. All in all I think I am ok. What do you think?
