Hello everyone! I just started with a personal trainer. I do 2 days/ week of strength training and 3 more days /week of cardio (2 days off). I am SOOOOOOOOOO sore from the strength training. Not kidding. It is hard to walk. I know, I know; this will get better in time. But any suggestions for relief would be fantastic. Thank you in advance- Tummy tuck

Haha! Tiny1234, you are cracking me up and I am tempted to ask the same question. Congratulations on your success!!! You kicked butt, and I bet you feel amazing!- 85 down 34 to go!!!!!
You look fantastic! And your clothes are adorable!- success
That is AMAZING!!!! Congratulations!!! All your hard work has paid off. So happy for you- weighing oneself
Yup, I weigh daily. I have noticed that I used to weight once a week, and I did not keep myself on track as well. But, now that I weigh daily I see the progress and notice how certain foods affect my weight. It is important to note, however, that it can come to the point of obsessing or being disappointing when some do it daily, but, i have done much better weighing daily than i ever have in the past. I track everything using myfitnesspal, including my weight. Thank goodness for that app, and this one. They are life savers. And yum yum, string cheese is delicious. As are hard boiled eggs.- Goodbye 300's
You look awesome. I third the request for where you got that adorable dress!?- Please pist success pics!
This first picture makes me shudder. 310 to 240. Same dress, just looks better now! Got a ways to go, but it is nice to see some change! Also, everyone is so motivating. So glad to be surrounded by everyone here. It is so uplifting to have others support each other on such a significant journey.- May Challenge-May Flowers
- Questions
Sorry. I see that pureed was changed above. Haha to be clear, that word is meant to say pureed, not puréed- Questions
That would be a really difficult situation. It is hard when you do not feel supported. Perhaps something that might be helpful for him to understand is to have him visit a lap band doctor with you to ask any questions he might have. Sometimes it just takes getting some information. About the puréed foods. It is no big deal. It does sound kind if gross, but the amount of time you are actually required to be on puréed foods is relatively short. And, it doesn't have to be abnormal puréed foods. I remember eating a lot of fat free/sugar free Jello, strained Soups, mashed potatoes, etc. when I was post-op. also, Protein shakes, Protein Shakes, protein shakes! Good luck! If you need someone to talk to, feel free to send me a message. Id be happy to serve as a listening ear or answer any questions you might have.- Please pist success pics!
You look amazing!!!- List of NSVs
As I sit here on the recumbent elliptical, I notice the very exciting NSV of not having the arms of the machine hit my arms as I type!!! They always used to not be able to clear my body. Haha.- 70 lbs today
Just read your blog. It's extremely motivating and fun! It makes me want to start one. How do I follow it? Do I just add it to my favorites or is their a "follow" button? Probably a dumb question, but I figured I'd take the risk and ask.- Bari-Buddy
