Some things I learned from my surgeon yesterday about VSG that I had never heard before
Wow this is truly interesting. It makes so much sense to me. This has also made me more sure that getting the sleeve is perfect for me. I may even print this page and let others see it so they can understand why I want the sleeve so bad and what could happen if I continue to overeat without help. Thank you so much for this.

You really dont look like your old enough to be married in the 90's. You look like you're in your early 30's. I'm so happy for you, you're such a great inspiration. GO GIRL!!!!

NOT STAYING ON 6 MONTH DIET
I am in the same exact place as you. I keep losing and gaining the same 5 lbs. I hate going to my doctor and getting weighed because I know she'll be disappointed. I'm 4 months in my 6 month diet. It's so hard. What happened last time was I was on my period when I went in and of course we gain water weight during that time. I told her I was a few pounds lighter than what the scale revealed which i actually was. She was okay with that and recorded the weight I told her I was. She then said "well I guess every time you come in from now on, you'll probably will be on your period and we as women gain 2-10 lbs on our periods so just keep me posted on your actual weight". So I hope I'm on my period again so I can just give her a number and she'll record that for the sake of the diet. My insurance representative said they arent interested in how much weight I lose or dont lose they want to see if I'm willing to be diligent about going to the doctor on a regular basis. I understand the reasoning behind the 6 month diets but it's also very hard. I'd much rather have to be made to go to a class that actually helped with my mental issues with food because diets for me dont work, if they did I wouldnt be hitting almost 300 pounds. Anyway, I hope it works out for you!

New Sleever
That's funny my insurance company didnt tell me the details either. I went on humana's website, then scrolled down to the morbid obesity page of coverage. They had information but still didnt mention specifically the sleeve so I called the bariatric office here in town and asked if they ever work with patients that had UK PPO, and if they covered the sleeve. They told me Humana covers the sleeve with patients a BMI of 50 or more. I was irritated with the insurance company, if the details are not specific you can't make an informed decision. I think that's crazy you have to be enrolled before getting information, its information on surgery not info on how to build a bomb. I just dont get it.... I'm glad you're getting your surgery and Congrats on doing so well on your pre-op diet.

6 Month Comparison
Girl let me tell ya, you dont look like you weighed l the amount you say you started at. I can't tell you were over 300 lbs. You carry your weight well honey. You look great now too. I'm impressed with the 80+ pounds in six months. I would be thrilled to lose that much in six months. You look wonderful. If family and friends dont comment, please know it's jealousy. People dont hate on things they have themselves, it's what they wish they had they tend to hate. Girl strut your stuff proudly and keep paying it forward for those of us that will be sleeved soon.

Joy,Joy,Joy
AWWWWWW how sweet it is to be scooped up and carried. This has to be the absolute best feeling. I've never had this happen to me, only in my dreams. Also it has to be awesome to fit into size 8's as well. That's also a dream of mine. Girly you just had me over here teary eyed because I know how I would feel if that happened to me and how awesome being able to zip, button, and walk must feel. CONGRATS, CONGRATS, CONGRATS, and CONGRATS on your new marriage, I've never been married either. You have me beat all the way around. HAHAHAHAHA

Almost 6 months now
Thanks for your story. I'm wondering, compared to others in your support group which group seems the happiest with their tool, the Sleevers, LapBander's, or Bypasser's? Thanks and Congrats on your success!!!!
