  1. I had a fill the other day and I can barely eat. Even liquid is slow to go down. I am glad for the post and idea about mushies, I forgot about them!
  2. I had surgery on the 28th. I ended up spending the night in the hospital. I had several bouts with nausea. YUCK! I am feelng better. No pain meds today. Do you know, should we take pain meds or not. I am uncomfortable, changing positions, but not all of the time. What do you think?
  3. Thanks my new friends for the advice. WAS I NUTS? It is Saturday, day 3. I feel like dog poop!
  4. Thank you friends, I needed your advice. Mothers dislike disappointing their kids. I will have to make alternative arrangements for the boys. My husband will not go.... This is the first I heard about not driving. Is there a driving restriction after surgery?
  5. I too am being private about my surgery! I am excited about the positive reaction! Great for you!!
  6. Hello, I am having surgery on 4-28, Thursday in the early am. My son has cross over camp out for Boy Scouts the next evening, Friday. This is a big deal. I went for my older son and he treasured the experience. The whole troop goes camping about 25 people. The Troop is going to an urban campground, so I will not be far from civilization. My 2 boys will be going on the camp out. It has been my decision not to tell people about my surgery. My kids will know that I went to the doctors, but that is it. Once at the camp out and the tent is set up, it will be pure relaxation. Okay, I have to coach the young boys (5th graders) in cooking, but that is it. So what do you think? So many people feel great after surgery, I am hoping I am one of them. I do not want to do anything stupid, but what is the difference between sitting beside a campfire and sitting by the TV? What is your opinion about going camping.
  7. I am also on April 26. I am nervous and hopeful! Good luck to you...
  8. I am from Beverly Hills, Michigan
