Yay!! Thank you sooo much!!

One more night, its finally here! The long awaited journey will have a new begining starting tomorrow. We are all truly blessed to have this opportunity, I will be thinking of all of you once my head clears of the pain killers...lol Thanks all for the continued support ...this forum has been a huge help and comfort for me and has put me at ease by preparing me for the things to come..the internet is a wonderful thing isnt it? and so is this site..thank you all!! see you on the loosers side!! Mine was scheduled for 11:00 as well, they just called me and bumped me to 12:45 ugh...at least it will still be done that day..

Monday is the BIG Day... 2 more days of liquid diet and my surgery is on Monday...Cant wait to be on the loosers side!!

yay so happy for you, I remember that feeling when I got mine...soo cool!!!

I asked my nurse practitioner if I could take gas ex while in the hospital, she told me if the gas pain is that bad to let her know and she will give me Simithacone, I explained to her that I had my Gallbladder taken out years ago and the pain was so bad when I got home so I took a gas ex and witin minuts it was gone! She also gave me the ok to take gas ex when I got home if it was bad. But she explained that walking is very important part of getting rid of gas and preventing blood clots more importantly. So check with your Doc..see what they say

I was thinking the same thing today, Im on all liguids with only 20 grams of protien a day..I thought I would be ready to pass out but I actually feel a little better hmmmmm. less tired just hungry. 3 more days to go and then the BIG DAY....looking forward to getting more protein in after surgery..

ONe week to go for me (11th) started the preop liquid diet today...getting close...

I was told during the first night of my study that if they saw sinificant Apnea they would wake me up and put the mask on me...turns out they didnt wake me up that night, but when I went for my second study with the mask, they said I had significant Apnea...
