    WLS cookbooks?

I've rented the Eating Well after WLS cookbook from my library. I have to admitt there aren't a lot in there that I would use. I need something that I can actually use daily. I'm 5 months out since my surgery and need more ideas of things to eat. If you have any suggestions, let me know. Thanks.
  2. Oh yeah, I did try some of that Unjury samples. That stuff is pretty good. I might order some more of them, later.

I got stuck inside because of the weather. The part of Texas I'm in sure was pretty icy. We had some yesterday too. Suppose to war...

  11. Hi all. Well I"m 10 weeks out now and doing alright. I'll admit, yes, I've kind of eaten a few things I probably shouldn't have but I didn't I'm not beating myself up over it. I get up the next morning and try to remember to eat like I"m suppose too. I'm still keeping my food diary like I"m suppose too. Thats the hard part for me. Being honest on there of what I"m eating, but I do. It's not like anyone else is going to see it but me and my nut....

    Gentle Exercise DVDs

Thanks TStew for the info. I have a lot more weight than most people on here have to lose and I really have a hard time getting myself motivated to get up and do anything. But anything that is easy on my knees and back sounds like something I can at least give a try. I'll check with my city library before I check with the hospital library. They have quite a few Cd's and DVD's. Thanks again.
  13. Hi HollyTx, Just thought I'd check in with you and see how your doing and how things are going with you. If you need someone to talk too, I'll try to help in any way I can.

    Magic Bullet

I was at Walmart the other day and saw a Hamilton Beach Single Serv Blender for $15.88 and a GE Import -Sensio Inc 17 pc Single Serve Blender. Wouldn't one of those be okay? I don't really have $50 to get the MB.
  20. Thanks Sette, last time I went there they told me they didn't have the lite syrup. So I ended up getting a small tea. I'll try that next time I go there. You go girl. D
  21. Well been on soft pureed for a little over a week now. I've read a few people's post about some idea's on what I can eat now. I really need more idea's. Refried beans with a little cheese is good but you can't live on it alone, I'm not a big egg eater but it was nice to have a hard boiled egg. I really need to know what I can and can't have right now. Is everything I eat now suppose to really be put in a blender? Any suggestions on different things I can eat, ...
