  1. When you stall, your body is adjusting to the weight loss. You are losing inches. You will notice in your clothes. I see it as a win-win whether it is pounds or inches I will take it...
  2. Thanks all!!!!! I feel absolutely amazing!!!!!
  3. AAANNNDDDDD..... I am down 61 lbs. WOOT WOOT!!!!! Just wanted to share!!! I hope everyone has a blessed day!!!!
  4. I eat really anything I want and have a taste for. The only exercising I do is walking and that is minimal. I don't do anything different than before, just smaller portions. I am a heavy weight so I contribute that as a factor.
  5. I get hiccups when I am full. My stomach growls when I am really hungry. I still get hunger pains too.
  6. I am 2 months out and have lost 57 lbs. I still think I am that bigger girl from before my surgery. My boss told me today to STOP wearing my old clothes because they were TOO BIG and to wear smaller ones. She knows I have a variety of sizes in my closet. She kinda yelled at me when she said it. :director: SOOO, when I got home I put several items in the goodwill basket and moved the smaller sizes to the front. I am going to take my boss' advice and wear the smaller clothes!!!! :thumb:
  7. When you have a stall, your body is losing inches. Your body has to adjust to the weight loss. If you are not losing lbs, you are losing inches. I look at as a win both ways.
  8. Coconut water also helps with leg cramps...
  9. I saw the dietician 3 times (once in each March, April, and May). Then I had one visit with her for my nutritional evaluation. I submitted weight history from late 2007 nothing for 08 and the rest came from 09 and 10.
  10. I have Aetna Select. I did a 3 month program. I had to see a dietician for those three months, behavior modification, ( i worked out with my surgeon's pt and keep meal logs) and have a nutritional evaluation. I had to do a psych eval as well.
  11. I had to do one too. I am 4% above normal. I was like "oh great I have above normal metabolism and I am still fat!!!"
  12. My tiredness is from day to day. Some days I feel like doing nothing at all and others I feel like I am the energizer bunny. I take 2500 mcg of sublingual B12 a day. It seems to help.
  13. I am no help!!!! I HATE THEM ALL!!!!!! GAG!!!!
  14. I was told I could have sex as soon as I felt up to it. I tried at 5 days out and it was a little rough. We eventually found a position that worked and it was fine. I am now 5 weeks out and down 40 lbs and I have to say it is really GOOD!!!! :001_tt1:
  15. Wish I knew!!!! I still have it.... I just deal and try to stay super busy!!!!
  16. YEA!!!! Head hunger is no fun. That seems to be my biggest struggle. Glad all went well today. CONGRATS on the 17 lbs....
  17. I was told that when you have a stall, your body is reabsorbing all the extra veins that formed with the weight gain. It is a period of time for your body to adjust.
  18. I am on the big ole boat too. I have a whole bunch more to lose but I am so excited for the 39 I have lost in 5 weeks!!!!!!
  19. I would have been a smart a$$ and said atleast I will die a SKINNY BITCH!!!! :laugh0::001_tt2:

  22. I have Aetna select. I went to my PCP and she wrote a letter of referral. I went on Aetna Docfind and found a surgeon who took my plan. I called and made an appointment at Dr. Barker's ofc. His ofc does everything you need for insurance to pay. I only paid my co pays and they told me everything I needed to do. I am 3 weeks out of surgery and knock on wood seem to be healing fine.
  23. have gone by since surgery. I have lost 14 lbs in those 2 weeks. I have a grand total of 33 lbs including the 19 lbs pre op. I feel FANTABULOUS!!! I can tell in my clothes. This is such a great feeling!!!!!
