  2. My surgeon required that we have some one to take care of our kids after surgery. We even had to sign a document saying that we had someone to care for them. I am sure your doctor will be willing to help.

  5. I like Gold Standard 100% Whey Delicious Strawberry mixed with either skim (when I was loosing) or 2% milk now that I need to stop loosing.
  6. I take a flinstone complete in the am and before bed. I take B100 once a day, I take viactiv calcium plus D chew 3 times a day and a B12 sublinguil 1 time a week. I buy all my vitamins from the grocery store or Sams who ever is cheapest. My numbers have always been great.
  7. I am praying they begin to cover this...I too had the sleeve done by a general surgeon at a Balboa MTF. Could you travel to one? I think I have read of some one having travel several hours to a MTF.
  8. Do you spray the pan or rack with anything? Or do they crisp with out anything?
  9. Maybe that is your "empty" feeling. It definatly can be acid in over load becuase your stomach is empty (in my opinion).

  11. I should have said lots of people find they have to up their calories to continue loss but I never had a stall. Praise the Lord!
  12. While losing I was 600-800 calories a day 70 grams of Protein 30 grams of Carbs

  14. had pcos prior to surgery but was able to have kids...my symptoms have almost all vanished.
  15. I have (had) pcos so yes counting carbs was very important at first for me. Pastas, rice, potatoes, are on my nut's list only after making it to goal and only after protein is eaten. Do you have a nutritionist? Otherwise FOLLOW your doctors plan closely, no matter what others have done.
  16. Hang in there! I know it is hard to wait. You can do this, just try to concentrate on all the things ahead of you. Make yourself journal about things you want to do and try. Can't wait to hear that you are all done with the pre-op and heading into surgery. Praying for your journey:)

  18. YES...my acid reflux always feels like choking! I take nexium 2xs a day now...and dont see that changing any time soon. The prilosec didnt work for me.
  19. ooo, I had a similar situation, I had a horrible day and I didnt eat much at all and I was so empty I was eating Pita chips and hummus quickly becuase I thought I would pass out and I got the slimes. It lasted about 15 minutes in which I paced back and forth in front of the toliet just incase...ewwww dont want that afain any time soon.
