  1. i'm at a stand still after 13 pounds down...but i am absolutely ok with that!!...its been one week and 2 days i'm finally starting to feel stronger...liquid diet really had me feeling weak, glad that phase is over!
  2. thank you for the post i was banded yesterday...feeling soar but looking forward to the future! it is so nice to see people feeling the same way i am...even if this is a past post..
  3. so my surgury is on tuesday...in three days...ill be back to share what happens...it's out patient so i'm exicted!!
  4. so i am a last semester RN student and in order to get my dream job i decided i needed to lose weight, as well as to get my blood pressure under control, take pressure off my joints and live longer for my family( as well as fit into designer jeans...i'm not going to lie). I am 250 and 5'9"....i'm hoping to get to 155...though i'm not sure what that would look like...the last time i was the weight was 6th grade... i've tried to read blogs to find out if that weight loss was possible with the lap band...so i started this blog to help people like me who have questions...i've done all my preop classes and seminars and labs...just waiting for approval...lucky for me though i am not too apprehensive about the surgery...i have had the pleasure to watch one being performed during one of my clinical rotation.
  5. how tall are you....i am around 250 and trying to find what is realistic for lap band weight loss...thanks!! (i'm still waiting for approval)
