  2. I began this diet on April 7
  3. I Can have 1-2 meals of 4-6 oz chicken breast with 1 cup green veggies 1-2 meals of a Protein shake Yes eating lots of protein. Thanks for the replies!
  4. And the days are just dragging along. One week to go before my Band. I am ready to move over to the Post op questions and answers! Sorry folks there is no real topic here. I am just venting because I am hungry! I never was good at not eating!! No wonder I need WLS!

  9. Hi. Glad you joined lap band talk. I too use True Results in Houston and Rachel is my Patient co-ordinator. My surgery date is one week from today on April 20th. Stay in touch with me and I will let you know how my pain level is. Good luck I know you will do great and I will too. FYI-I am also a self pay so we have some things in common!
  10. So I am 5 days into my pre-op diet and I am starting to realize that I can never stuff myself again. I mean this diet is difficult but after this then i am banded and will be eating small amounts. I sometimes feel like I am mourning my old fattening lifestyle. Anyone feel this way?

  14. I am on pro-op diet too and hungry!!! Most of the time-except while sleeping.

  23. Oh No!!! I really am getting this done. Finally got clearance from cardiologist. Starting to get nervous!!!! Help. What are all the things eveyone has on hand for when you return home after banding?
  24. Yes I agree with everyone. completly normal. If fact i am in the same place as you. Worked so hard to get everything in place! Now I am starting to freak out a little. This really is scarry!!! But I will find the courage to get it done!!!! My date is April 20th!
