  11. I was banded on April 20. My energy level is good. The first 6-7 days I was week but after that I felt better each day. I think you may be week from being on your period so long. Contact your DR ASAP!!!
  12. Right after surgery I felt pain anytime I bent over. You should call your DR if you are still in pain and feel like something is wrong.
  13. Welcome to Lap Band Talk and good luck with your surgery. I am about 10 days banded and doing well. You will too. I had to get cardiac clearance also and usually have pretty high blood pressure. When I visit the DR office for some reason my blood pressure s always higher than usual (nerves I guess). The morning of the surgery I just knew they would refuse to ooperate becasue I thought my blood pressure would be so high. However I guess I just knew the band surgery was going to help me because my blood pressure was 120 over 80 which is lower than I have had in a year. Glad you are here and keep on posting!
  14. Hello all. I was banded on April 20th. I had an unexpected hiatal hernia repair. I was in quite a bit of pain that day and for about 3-4 days after. I ruturned to work the following Monday which was 5 days after the surgery. The first 2-3 days back at work were tough and I was still feeling weak. I am drinking my protien sahkes and eating some mushy foods and creamy soups. Since the beginning of my pre-op diet to now I have lost 15 pounds. I am pretty pleased so far with my Lap Band!
  15. I am on day 10 and I am really feeling pretty good. You will feel better soon!!!! Lap Band is not major surgery but it isn't minor either!!

  18. I am sorry you are having a tough time. I am banded 8 days and stuggling a bit too. Remember to keep your protein up so your body can heal!! Maybe try a protein drink with some fruit mixed in if your DR will give the OK. Good luck!
