I had an abnormal EKG and was told I had to have a cardioligist clear me for my surgery. Now I am scheduled for a stress test and ekocardiogram. I can't get this done until March 31st then will have to see what the DR says. So yes I had to move my surgery date out!
I went to my primary care doctor and had another EKG. The very same result. So now I have to go to a cardiologist. Trouble is the first available appointment is march 25th!!! WTH.... this is my heart health.
Soooo I am going to have to reschedule my surgery for a later date!
I am scheduled for March 23rd. Still have a couple of speed bumps to get over but with a bit of luck I will be banded in 3 weeks. Start my pre op diet in one week!!!
I just went for my first visit and found out I have an abnormal EKG. Now I have to go to my DR and hopefully get a normal test. If not I have to go to a cardioligist. I am just trying to get this done and now this-more delays. Anyone else have this trouble? I am using True Results in Housto, TX.
I have my appointment at True Results this Wed. and am considering using Dr. Hollis. I am curious too about the shocked at their financing options. I am a self pay with a low BMI. I was approved for finance and so far not shocked.
My BMI is a little lower than you at 31. I am just getting started with my research and the more I read the more difficult it is. I am definetly doing something. I hate being over weight and just can't lose wieght and keep it off without help!!!! I am in Houston TX so Mexico is not so far. I love this forum because I can read about other stories and know I am not alone!!!!
Anyone have a BMI of around 30?
I am a 54 year old lady and have been over wieght for about 11 years. My BMI is 30 so I will have to finance the procedure myself. Just wondering if there are any others that are here with lower BMI's considering being banded?
