Hi all I am Rachel! I am 27 years old and have a date with destiny on Jan 25th 2011. I have always been over weight as far back as I can remember. I have been married almost two years now with no children. I am a nurse in critical care at my local hospital. I started my journey toward a healthier me in May of 2009. I attended a seminar on lap band after it had been suggested to me after finding out I had 3 herniated disc in my back. Since I had just gotten married at that time and did not know if we wanted to start a family right away I put off going forward with the lap band. Now I am ready! Ready to take control of my health and feel better in my life!
