Hello everyone I was sleeve march 2,2016 . My height is 5'1 and starting weight was 248 now 206lbs . Have more to go but I am happy.

congrats I was also sleeved march 2016 and I am proud of myself I lost so far 42 lbs in total. still have more to go too reach my goals but I going to keep pushing.

So, here are my before and currents to keep the topic moving.

Current as of last week:

@@leeka Lowering calories isn't always the right answer. Focus on Protein, Water (non caloric drinks) and Vitamins. Avoid carbs except veggies and fruit.

Glad I found this thread, my revision was 4/18/16 and so far 35 lbs down. Was sooooo discouraged cause I have a friend who got it done (just sleeve not band to sleeve) and is down 79 and she got it done 2 wks after me. Now that I've read everyone's post, I feel much better. I've even had some cheat meals, but haven't gained anything.

I had my surgery March 2016 lost 44 so far they say i have a decreased T3 slow metabolism so i have to work hard at this. But ive been consistent 6 lbs a month after the first 15 i lost aft surgery. But you have to not compare that will make you crazy. Keep doing what ur doing it will come off

I'm so happy! Best decision of my life! I would do this again in a heartbeat! Almost 2 months out on Sunday! Surgery date was March 15, 2016. Started at 236.8 Current 198.2! Progress!

Healthy carbohydrates will be added back in to your diet after you have reached 75% of your weight loss.
Weight loss phase - Carbohydrates will be restricted.
Maintenance Phase- Healthy carbohydrates added back into your meals. whole wheat, brown rice or plant based. They will still be in small amounts.

Wow! I am officially sleeved!! I cannot believe how amazing my surgery outcome was and recovery is going so far! I thank God for all the amazing staff and of course my surgeon, Dr Ali! Hopefully I'll be released by tommorow!! I'd like to thank these boards for being an amazing source of pre op information!! ️

I have scale and now decide not to weigh myself anymore, because it discourages me at times.
