  4. Allison0927, my tummy tuck was $6500 breast and arm lift was $8000 and I just had a bilateral leg lift that was $4500. It was worth every single penny! I can't even begin to tell you how much better I feel in my own skin now. Danielle b thanks for the tip I am sitting on a cloud of pillows and u were right the butt incisions are the worst part along with the drains i have incisions that run down to my knees but u cant even see them and it actually lifted my lower legs too. All in all the pain is not bad and completely controlled by pain medication and I am only needing a half dose.
  5. You look wonderful! I go in for my inner thigh lift/ leg lift the end of this week any tips on a comfortable recovery? I have already gone through a tummy tuck, arm lift and breast lift but I was always able to use my legs so i'm a bit nervous on this one.

  8. Ditto I could not have gone through this journey without Christ on my side!
  9. I agree! I am able to eat anything I want I just don't. Big macs and pizza are what got me to needing the lap band in the first place.

  11. Cazzy, I have been there I have lost over 200 pounds had plastic surgery and will have my legs done in July and I cant for the life of me understand why I wasn't critical of myself when I was over 300 pounds like I was when I reached bellow my goal weight. The only answer I have is that being that big I was dead inside I didn't care about my self and when you don't care about yourself you can't even be critical of yourself and thats worse. When I started caring about myself that was when the critical part of me came out (critical towards myself) I had to realize that my self worth didn't come from the way I looked or the # on the scale that kept me in bondage my worth came from who I am in Christ. :-)
  12. I had the traditional port but had it switched to the low profile port when I had my tt. It is much better then before but it still sticks out like a mini golf ball but as far as weight loss goes its a good thing. One option is to have your surgeon place it under the muscle but I wanted any future port work to be a simple procedure (fills and such) just in case.
  13. I have lost 64%!!!! Even I am shocked at that number!
  14. Tummy tuck first for sure arms, breast, then thighs I have had the first 3 done so far and I will be having a leg lift in July.
  15. I am so sorry you are feeling discouraged. Are you eating processed foods? The reason I ask is because processed foods will always slide right down because it already has gone through a phase of digestion it will not stay in your pouch. Take a look at your diet are you really not satisfied after eating some skinless chicken breast, vegetables and sweet potatoes for example? For the first year I battled with head hunger I kept telling myself I was really hungry but I wasn't I just wanted to eat. But please keep on going in the right direction no matter what your scale says doing the opposite will only cause weight gain and you already know that.
  16. I agree with the above posts I did not get fat eating fruit in fact juicing is part of my daily diet. There is a web site called 'Sick Fat and Nearly Dead' that has a great video on the benefits of juicing and tons of recipes.
  17. I would not worry. I am in the green zone and I can still guzzle down water after my runs.
  18. One more thing I want to mention I agree with the above posters who said you don't need to go to the gym to workout every movement counts just make a conscious decision to get up and move around every 30 min even if it's to unload the dishwasher check the mail so on.
  19. If someone told me 3 years ago that one day I would love running long distance 18 plus miles I would have called them a liar lol. For me it has been amazing to see my body transform going from barely being able to walk a block to running up to 18 miles at a time has been empowering! That being said I could not have done it without plenty of Gods grace.
  20. I'm glad you were able to order the pb2. The good thing about it being in powder form is you can add it to anything you want to have peanut butter flavor. Example is I like sugar free fat free chocolate pudding and I add the pb2 to it and it tastes just like a peanut butter cup :-)
  21. For me I didn't get my confidence back until I had my plastic surgeries (tummy tuck, arm lift, and breast lift) my husband loved me at my highest 330 and loves me the same at 119 but I didn't feel good with all that hanging skin and now that it's gone the lights are on
