  16. Angie, Please do not be discouraged, it is normal after surgery to even gain a few lbs. After the swelling goes down you will be able to et just like before, like nothing has changed. Actually it hasnt changed yet. The change comes when you get fills, sometimes it will take or 4 fills to get restriction. My dr was very aggressive with my first fill and filled me to like 6cc in a 10cc band. I had super restriction after my first fill, some dr arent near as aggressive and it takes longer. I promise you one year from now you will be amazed at the weight you have lost. Any questions feel free to ask, anything

  18. I was told the band size has to do with the amount of fat around your stomach??? not sure, and as you lose the fat where the band is, that is why you need fills to keep it tight

  21. Cruise for me, December 4th, cant wait

  23. My 2 cents. Spouses of a banded person have no clue how to be supportive. We cant expect them to change overnight after many years of wrong eating, it is us with the band, we choose what we put in our mouth. Why cant you eat out? Why cant you drink pop? I do both of those and have lost 165 lbs in a year. We live in a real world, where people are going to eat junk food, and it is going to be around. Did you talk to hubby before your surgery? Did he support your decision? Does he not let you order? If so speak up and tell them you want water to drink or nothing since you shouldnt eat and drink together.
  24. The old nutritionist is what my dr tells me
