Freaking out! gaining weight back already!

I had my band oct 10th. Lost 16 pounds in first week on clear liquids. As soon as I started full liquids I started gaining it back. I dont get it! Iv only consumed 4 oz at a time. Eat slowly the whole 9time and iv gained like 5 pounds back! How is that possible when my caloric intake is still so low!?

Are you getting out and walking yet? How about your water intake? There are a lot of factors involved at this stage and remember your body is still healing.

TY. And no. My water intake isn't that great. Iv never been a drinker. Im working on that aspect. And I just started incorperating excersize. I played kickball w my kids on sat. Trying to start a gym membership. I pray these things will work. If I went thru this for nothing it would devistate me. Any tips on nutritional but tasty things I can puree?

First of all its normal to gain weight after surgery.. because you are on liquids which means probably high sodium content which leads to retain water. you are going to need to drink water (crystal light Fruit Punch is my best friend) because you are going to need to flush the salt out of your system. you will probably also stay the same when you transit to solid foods again..

Water, water, water! I keep a bottle next to me at all times.
