  1. This week I have been eating cereal or yogart for dinner and it seems to be working for me. I got on the scale this morning and it said 221! I really hope to be in the teens by next week. I wish I had a personal light a fire under my a$$ person :flame: who could motivate me to excersise more. But, I am very happy today and feeling good about my weightloss.

  3. Wow! You are doing Awsome!!
  4. Hi Goldthimble, I am from Salem NH. I have yet to find too many people from NH on this site, where are you from? Nicole
  5. I totally relate to everything you said. I know how it feels to not even imagine yourself thin because of being overweight so long....I also give up at this point too. I am finding that trying on all my clothes that were tight two months ago, and having them hang on me has been totally motivating. Keep your head up....it'll be easier if you just take it day by day! I am interest to see how my second fill is going to be.

So far so good, I'm down another 3 pounds and very happy. Total weightloss is 33 pounds. I just bought a size 16 dress at Macys yesterday and it fit great.....shopping is fun again! I scheduled another appt. in june for a second fill. The first fill did close to nothing. Still, I am thrilled with my marvelous band!

  10. I couldn't believe it! I got on the scale today yet again thinking it would say 229...again .....which it has for the past 4 weeks, and then low and behold ....225!!!!!!!!!!!!! I yelled and woke up both kids but it was worth it! I feel so re-energized and motivated again. I LOVE LOSING!!! I bummed about Lakeisha on American Idol.....it should have been Blake.

  12. That is so exciting! You are doing amazing...how is jogging going? I haven't attempted that one yet. You should give the fanny pack extender a proper burial in the garbage can!!!!!!!!!
  13. I had mine at about 6 weeks also. The nutritionist jokingly said that with two babies, I'm going to need at least one glass of wine a week!
  14. Oh, Keep your head up.....you're doing great already even without the surgery. It is nice to know that your dr. is taking the proper precautions though. Just think you'll lose all the more weight before surgery! Best of luck!~ Nicole
  15. WAY TO GO! congratulations on getting to onederland!
  16. I will call the doctor this week and see if they can fit me in...my doctor only sees patients on wednesdays. I guess what I think is restriction is the feeling of getting kind of full a little sooner...but...honestly I think it is just because I have been dieting for 3 month and my stomach is getting used to a smaller intake. And pardon me when I say this, but EVERYTHING makes me gassy!
  17. Hello February Bandsters! I haven't been on this thread in a while but I would love to be added to the list if possible. I was banded on Feb 26th 2007 and have lost 25 lbs. I started at 255 and am now down to 230. I happy about my weight loss but have been stuck at 230 for about 3 weeks! I am trying really hard but nothing has changed. I just had my first fill last week and I'm not feeling much difference. I guess I just really have to step it up with more excersise. Nice talking to you all and best of luck to everyone!
  18. :angry MY SCALE STILL HASN'T MOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:angry I have really been watching what I eat and I have even been walking with the kids but still, nothing. I do feel a difference in my clothes though. I am very comfy in clothes that used to feel like control top pantyhose.:biggrin1:

  20. I'm glad to hear that I am not alone. I felt very disapointed after my first fill....I had 1 or 1.5cc. I have no difference except the fact that I am having a hard time eating toast or crackers. Its kind of a scary feeling. This is totally still my own will power......and....I'm OK with that for now.
  21. Best of luck......we'll get through this together! Nicole
  22. Yesterday, with much excitement, I got my first fill. I am very disapointed though:( . I don't feel any different. As I was about to leave the doctor said that all I need to eat is a portion of the size of my thumb. I really don't think that is going to happen. I'm not sure if I should call them back and let them know that nothing has changed.....I'll give it a week. Its such a bummer because it is quite a production to get into Boston and coordinate it with someone taking care of my two babies. I really want to make this happen and I really don't want to feel this disapointment. I have read that some people have had to get 4 fills in order to feel any restriction! Oh please let this work for me without waiting months before my special "tool" kicks in.

  24. You should be very proud of yourself! You are doing great....Keep it up!
  25. Hi everyone, today I am going to have my first fill. I have been very hugry up untill today and I hope that this will help. Any suggestions on how I should get through the next week....I know that there is a chance of sliming. I have never slimed and I hope to keep it that way. Should I expect to lose more weight soon after the fill? I really hope so because I have been stuck at the same weight for about 3 weeks!
