The office is closed today for the holiday but I am going to call in the morning! Im so nervous! I had a non related surgery a month ago and its been going on since then. Just been getting worse...man oh man I dont want to have it repaired! I desperately hope it didn't slip!!

I was banded in Jan 2011 and starting getting very frustrated after my first fill! I only lost about 15 lbs in a 4 month period and I started getting depressed because even after going thru a surgery, I apparently still couldn't lose weight! I went to the dr about a month ago and he didn't even do a fill but all of the sudden, I struggle to eat anything. I can't even drink water without being in pain and on the verge of vomiting. I know it isnt healthy, but I have been losing a pound a day almost which is kind of exciting. I just want to know if anyone else has had this happen? Is it just finally starting to work? Can it cause permanent damage?

Im having surgery on January 17th here at Fort Hood and I think it'd help if I had some local support!

So, my new life begins tomorrow at noon and I am so scared! Im scared my liver hasnt shrunk enough and I will be cut open, just for them to tell me they have to postpone, or that I wont succeed or that something will go horribly wrong! I am sure that I am just overreacting but I cant calm my nerves no matter what I tell myself! ugh!!!

oh! Why nothing? I'm so nervous that I wont succeed! I am really good about sticking with something IF i see results and I have since I started the pre op diet! Ive lost about 7 pounds since last monday so I'm trying not to get any negative thoughts about the whole thing! I think I should just breathe, eat and sleep this site because I feel so much better about what I am doing after I talk to people on here!!!

I will also be banded on the 17th! I am so excited! I have my preop stuff on the 12th and I am getting so nervous! I too have slipped and I am so scared that it will ruin my chances...they have me on an all liquid diet but I just wanted some turkey lol!! Hopefully things will go great at my appointment! I am sure I am just over reacting! I always do that!

I finally got through all the evaluations and doctor appointments and finally got my surgery date....january 17th! I have started my pre-op diet today and it's been ok so far! Im getting kind of nervous but I know it will all be worth it in the end!

Mine is the 17th so I'd be happy to talk to you through mine also....since mine is a week earlier maybe I can let you know what to expect as I go through it!!!! Anybody having surgery around the 17th?

My doctor has me on a 2 week diet and oh my its hard! I can have juice, gatorade, powerade-limit 2 a day Regular Jello, fruit flavored regular popsicles, or no sugar added fudgsicles- 3 or less a day Milk, light yogurt, cottage cheese-less than 3 servings a day Low carb protien shake-2 servings a day and thats all they have on my list....i hope i can make it!!!! If anyone else has any suggestions....PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!
