    Questioning the surgery...

I am having the surgery. I have talked about it extensively with my husband and I want to be around for my kiddos.

    Questioning the surgery...

You have to decide for yourself and do this for yourself. Do you really want to be healthier? Do you want to be more active? Do you want to stave off diseases that come with obesity? Stick to your decision.

Thank you for the welcome. I'm going to try to get into being in here. Sometimes I'm not that good about it. But I can't always get to my support meetings so I want to get support any way I can.

Oh is it really inspirational? My surgeon said the same thing. Although I have one word of advice, don't wait until after the surgery to take your surgeon and nutritionist's advice. I've found that my theory of embracing the WLS lifestyle before surgery has give me a lot of help. I bought cookbooks and I go recipe hunting now. I just decided before surgery the only way I was going to survive after surgery when I was in it for life and there was no turning back, was to dive right in before. Started eating the way I would after surgery when I was back on solids. Drink water the way I'm suppose to, take those vitamins. And ask the questions I needed to ask so I mess up before it would hurt me. My surgeon said that was one of the smartest things a patient had ever done. I have no idea if she was telling me the true. But I liked that she said it.

Hey y'all. So I'm 6 months post op and my husband is 3-5 months away from surgery. And I need advice from the veterans. Anyone go through this with your partner. We don't eat the best and like most overweight couples are each other's worst enablers. We don't like to say no to the other and sometimes it's just easier to grab fast-food. What advice do you have for us. I'd love to meal prep but our freezer is kinda small and almost always filled to capacity. I know we should probably anex the ready to eat things and spend a day cooking. But it does seem like tons of work so hellllllp Sent from my moto e5 play using BariatricPal mobile app

    Weight loss with breast loss

For me it was a trade off. I was still curved. Also the excess skin went into my bra - the result was still curved. The healthy me cared less about my breast size. Declaimed - I went for plastics.
