    Alcohol - a warning?

Thanks for sharing, takes some bravery considering some of the police I've seen on these forums. Congrats on your sobriety as well!

    Dying for soda

I got sleeved Oct 1 2018 and have been doing great! Lost 60lbs and just hit onderland! However, there are times (like tonight) that I am just jonesing for a Diet Pepsi. How bad will it be to have a few sips once in a blue moon? What will happen? Gas? TYIA!

I liked the Orange Creamsicle powdered shake, Strawberry is good also, but the Orange is the bomb. Also the Orange clear l8quid, the Apple is vile, has an b undesirable after taste to it. Do Not the New York Cheesecake, no way to disguise NASTY!

Thinking about food all the time

If your pre op...Today I felt that way off and on. Drank Crystal light, broth, and decaf coffee to help fill me up and a hot sugar free jello... they are so good. I love an apple drink from Walmart it is like Crystal light and I freeze it enough its slushy.

    Any good protein tips?

I also like the variety of the Syntrax NEctar shakes. Love the lemonade. They sell a variety pack. I haven't seen them in stores, but I have bought it online. I also like unjury chocolate and premier chocolate. re: budget, just remember even if the powders seem expensive, you'll only be spending a couple dollars a meal, so it is still cheaper than most foods you'd eat before surgery. Good luck.

    Choices of liquids

Where does the fluid go? Pretty much straight through, be you sleeve or Bypass, except for me with Precious Pouch and her pinhole drain out. And if you are up for 8 hours, drinking a 8 oz☕ glass. per hour or 2 oz every 15 minutes, by the time you get completed--' you will have been putting out pale lemonade colored urine. And woe be you if you finish up late in the evening, because you will be up all night, running back and forth. And that is just how,it happens!💦🚽

    My surgery journey is beginning

I have my surgery date it's January 15. I have to have RNY with a little more. I'm on the scared side mainly because of age and health, some of the same reason I'm having surgery...lol. Try to keep a positive attitude. Sent from my LG-H871 using BariatricPal mobile app
