Try to keep all the reason you are doing this in the front of your mind. Do not let yourself dwell on the very very small 1% complication rate. This is a very safe surgery and you will be fine and so much happier when you get this part behind you. it is the what ifs that will drive you nuts. try to stay busy - 8 kids that should not be hard

I'm on day 7 out of 14. the first 3 days were extremely hard. Day 4 and 5 were slightly better. Once you get to Day 6, the hunger pains start going away. Now at Day 7 I barely feel hungry at all until like 2-3 pm. It is definitely dooable, you just need to focus and get past the beginning hurdle. The longer you go without food, the easier it becomes. When you start cheating your body starts to expect food again, which makes it worse because then its like starting from Day 1 again if that makes sense. Stay strong!

That's crazy too. But I get it. I'm just happy to be back to feeling "me".

Having my Sleeve surgery this Wednesday 05/23/2018 at 9:30 am. I am a nerve wreck 😓 right now. I can't stop thinking if something goes wrong, my children (8 of them). Which they are the main reason why I am doing my surgery, they need healthy mom to be able and play sports ⚽ with them and not get tired in 10 minutes.....and of course 2nd reason is for me to feel 💃 sexy again.

Yes most definitely! I did the 64 oz and more, and was worried that I was stretching my pouch and unable to eat. I did some online research and found that you cannot stretch your stomach with water, but it sure felt like it!

It has gotten quite a bit better so on a good path here. Thanks for your concern all.

I have been out for a couple of hours and feel like death warmed over. Hope you all have a better time of it.

Been out of surgery a few hours now and I feel amazing! I’m happier now than I was when I got approved! My pain is very minimal, I don’t have much gas and what little I do have is not uncomfortable at all. Although I wasn’t able to drink water earlier I did request it to rinse my mouth and rub it around my gums and surprisingly once the dryness was gone it felt as if I had drank the cup so deff try this. Yikes! I also used top doc and A rated hospital - 25 K for lower body with outer thigh plus a bit of bum work and breasts surgery 2 a separate 9 k for inner thighs and surgery 3 9 k for arm with side and back of torso. I had mine done in a high cost area but would not rule out 1 or 2 hours away. - CT or NJ. Even Long Island Get a few quotes whatever you do then go with what you are comfortable.
