Weight loss stall... 18 days post op

So I’m 18 days post op, and haven’t lost weight in a week. I’m eating 1/4 cup of cottage cheese, 2 protein shakes a day and getting 64 oz ow liquids in a day. Is this common???

My insurance company had the same requirement, but I was unable to fulfill it since I had not visited any doctors offices or clinics in the three preceding years (I was uninsured from 2010 to 2014). I provided self-reported weights to fill in the gaps and this sufficed enough for the insurance company to approve payment for the sleeve.

    Pre op weight gain.

This. I do this too. I wish you the BEST of luck. I know with my weight, it fluctuates SO heavily because my body looooves to retain water, so maybe it's that? I know my weight can change up to 6lbs from morning to afternoon because of water weight (it's super effing annoying!)

    Popcorn

Frito Lay and others make something called Puffcorn, absolutely no hulls. But those are empty snack calories, give your brand spanking sleeve or pouch something lower calories and healthy instead. Besides the oils etc alway gave me bouncing bad indigestion. Well I screwed up

Somehow at the 2 week post op mark a lot of us push the "Hello, do you know me? I'm the stupid one who tries to live out the movie Jackass in real life button." I did it. Many have done it. You can beat a dead horse, but it won't make it run again. So move on. But as @sideeye said, the disturbing part about that slip-up was the volume and the product used for the test. It really can cause staple line ruptures but worse as my surgeon just explained, she has very few pts with complications or stretched out pouches/sleeves. So I trust her advice. She said at this point in our healing, it is absolutely possible to stretch out the pouch or sleeve. I figure I can be a dumb ass about rules that keep me safe and my tool in tact, OR I can be a smart ass about it. I would much rather be a smart ass about it. I'm far too intelligent to wind up with a fu*ked up tool 3 months out from surgery. I think you are too.

    Carbonated water?

Some people tolerate it fine, but it’s painful for me to drink any carbonation and I’m four and a half years out.
