    Hard Work Pays Off ♥️

The first and last love is to love yourself! Never in a million years did I ever picture myself wearing such dress. I loved it and how I felt in it. Amazing feeling to experience. When your confident in each step, it shows and it attracts so many good things. One of the most memorable days of my life [emoji813]️

    1 year...

Nice work, keep it up! I'm a couple months away from my 3 year surgery anniversary date and I have never felt better. It is all 100% worth it in the end.

    Hard time standing up straight

Pretty normal. As pain passes you will straighten out. You need a couple weeks.

    Scareddd

I had RNY gastric bypass not a sleeve but no pain once left hospital after 4 days. I think pain depends on incision and level of care. I was on an IV with pain killers post op so had no issues. Didn't need pain killers when home. I had laparoscopic surgery so incisions are tiny. It was the best decision for me to lose my excess weight. I'm 2 years post op and very happy and healthy. It is surgery so expect some discomfort and pain but honestly a couple of days of discomfort is nothing compared to the multitude of benefits from losing weight, getting healthy and gaining confidence.

    Possible UTI?!!

Thanks! It's so stressful! My wife has been sleeping in the spare room because she suddenly got sick and doesn't want to risk giving it to me.

    Hard time standing up straight

I have noticed that myself. Surgery 8/21. I think I'm just favoring my stomach and incisions a bit. That's all I can think it could be.

I feel like I could make such a huge list, but I'll share some of my top picks: My husband to be able to pick me up Go horseback riding again Fit on roller coasters again Comfortably fit in an airplane seat and lower the tray Be more adventurous in the sack Shop at 'normal people' stores for clothes Run farther distances without my hips hurting

    What can I eat

Best advice is to not buy too much of one thing in the beginning I am 17 days out after gastric sleeve. I have a pantry full of boxes of bone broth ,cream soups, and a frig full of different protein shakes I hate. I found a protein milk at publix called Rockin refuel it's awesome. Chocolate taste just like chocolate milk and the vanilla taste like icecream. Has 30 grams protein. And I love oikos triple zero Greek yogurt has 15 grams protein the strawberry and salted caramel are my favorites. I got some unflavored protein powder to add to my soups. I've made a smoothie using fat free skim milk protein powder and fresh strawberries added splenda. Also crushed ice is my friend. I go to sonic and get bags of pellet ice and keep in my fridge. When I need to chomp on something it's there. Hope this helps. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using BariatricPal mobile app
