Got my first fill and WOW!

So I went for my first fill today and it went well. Now I had to be there at 11:45am so I got there at 11:30am and all I saw was like 6 ppl in the waiting room. So they call me back and check my vitals and then they send me back to the waiting room. I sit there for about an hour till they call me and like 15 other ppl to the back.:w00t:

We r sent to this room that has shoe covers and a hair net that we must put on. So we r all just sitting there waiting for our turn to be filled. :huh2:Im sorry but it looked like the FAT FARM...lol, I could not stop laughing. It also reminded me of a blog I saw that was about the Dr. Suess "A star on my tummy". It was so like that....lol:biggrinjester:

So im like the 6 one to get my fill. It was not bad, it did not hurt. He put in 3cc. So now all I can have is clear liquids till Monday:thumbdown:.

I got my first fill on March 2nd. (2 cc). Can you tell me, do you notice a difference from the fill to having no fill? I do not notice any difference and am getting very discouraged. any advice? Tamlynn lynnwv@verizon.net

The first fill is not always noticeable. My dr. says it is a process. Don't overthink it just feel your body telling u the signals u need to be aware of. Got my second fill yesterday and was on liquids so do not know if there is gr8 difference yet.

My first fill (1.5 cc) was on 3/19 and I did not notice any new restriction, just "stuck" episodes when eating too fast and not chewing properly. My 2nd fill (s/b +1.5 cc) is tomorrow, 4/16/09, and I am hoping for restriction with 3.0cc! My doctor says it is the process too and just does a little at a time (1.5cc). That's okay with me...I was banded on 2/13/09 and still adjusting to the new lifestyle. How many days on liquids after 2nd fill?
