Well on May 8 it will be 4 months since I have been banded. I have had 2 fills the first on I got 3cc n it did not make any difference. I was still hungery.:biggrin: So I got my second fill, I got 2cc. And the first week it worked and the second week too! But now 4 weeks later im back to being hungery and able to eat anything!:thumbup: I dont let myself eat anything but it is getting harder and harder to control! :frown: As for my weight loss it has come to a STAND STILL! So I went for my first fill today and it went well. Now I had to be there at 11:45am so I got there at 11:30am and all I saw was like 6 ppl in the waiting room. So they call me back and check my vitals and then they send me back to the waiting room. I sit there for about an hour till they call me and like 15 other ppl to the back.:w00t: We r sent to this room that has shoe covers and a hair net that we must put on. So we r all just sitting there waiting for our turn to be filled. :huh2:Im sor
Today im going for my first fill! Im now 7 weeks post-op and hungery all the time. It seems like I dont have to even chew as much now. But I still need my food really moist still. Also when I drink I can just chug it down with no problem. So thank GOD im finely getting my fill today!:w00t: Im a lil nervous. I dont know what to expect. Does it hurt? How do they know where the port is? ect.....I know my doc numbs u but it is just the unknown! Well im off to the Doctors now. Wish me luck......lol
Well it has been 5 weeks and I feel good! Just hungery more often. I dont get my first fill till 3/2/09 and it cant come fast enough!:frown: I tried some pure protein bars and they r so good. It is almost like a candy bar:drool:. I also tried some reduced fat peanut butter in my vanilla protein shake and it was really good too. It made me so full. I need to put some in my chocolate shake. I'm 1 month post-op. And on Sunday night I was in the bathroom looking at my incisions n like 4 inch above my lil incision on the right side i feel a fist size lump! what could this be?:eek: So I call the on-call doctor. And he says "Do u have a fever or pain there?" I said no pain n no fever. So he said to call the office on Monday morning.:confused: Well I call on Monday morning. i am 3 weeks post-op n just started my stage 5: regular food trial.:Banane37: i seem to be ok. i only tried the carb balance wrap with some perdue short cuts turkey and onions n cheese with fat free sour cream. i could eat about 3/4 of it. n it filled me up for about 4 hours.:cheatfree: but it was so nice to try something different. it is funny how when ur eating like this. how everyone wants to go on a diet too. i mean just cause u started something now everyone must get skinner before u do

I got banded 12 days ago.:tt1: my body feels fine but i think it is my mind! :eek:i mean i love cooking for my family but when it comes time to serve them i get realy pis*** off:cursing:. and i start to yell. :angry:im wondering if it is because i cant eat that food no more or is it just that i miss sitting at the table with them? it maybe both. does this happen to anyone else?:thumbup: yoco28

WOW IM SO TIRED OF SLEEPING SITTING UP!:thumbup: I TRIED TO LAY DOWN LASTNIGHT BUT I STILL HAVE THAT PULLING FEELING. WHEN DOES THAT GO AWAY?:confused:OTHER THEN THAT I DONT HAVE ANY PAIN JUST A LIL GAS FROM TIME TO TIME NOTHING THAT A GAS-X STRIP CANT HELP..:cursing: IM STILL ON MY FULL LIQUID DIET. I GOT BANDED ON THURSDAY 1/8/09. AND I HAD TO STAY OVER NIGHT. NOW THAT WAS NOT TOO BAD. BUT WHEN I HAD TO GO HOME IT WAS SO SO COLD OUTSIDE (LIKE 25) I FELT LIKE I COULD NOT CATCH MY BREATH. AND THAT IS WHEN IT HIT ME. I KEPT ASKING MYSELF WHY WOULD U DO THIS TO UR SELF. I COULD NOT HELP IT THE PAIN WAS INTENCE N I WAS TAKING SHALLOW BREATHS N CRYING.:smile: EVEN WHEN I GOT IN THE HOUSE I WAS STILL COLD. I RAN TO TAKE SOME PAIN MED'S N SAT DOWN WITH TONS OF BLANKETS N FELL ASLEEP. BUT AS I WOKE

:biggrin:Tomarrow is my big day! Today I started my clear liquids before surgery. Im so scared. But I cant wait to get it over with. Its weird that I think to my self the if something should happen that I elected to do this to myself.
