This site has been very helpful for me too! I was banded 5/27/08 & have lost 16lbs to date. I'm excited & I'm also scared because I keep reading about the negative experiences. Good luck with the rest!

I really enjoyed reading your journey. I’m still waiting for a referral from my doctor. She said that if I didn’t hear anything in two weeks, I should call. I’m going to a seminar in a week, that was another setback. But your story gives me hope and makes me determined to keep going
