Pre Op Liquid Diet - First Day

I had my six Optifast drinks - 3 strawberry and 3 chocolate plus I had orange sugar-free Jell-O cup for a snack at work. I also had one sugar free ice pop in the evening. I also had plenty of water and crystal light.

I'm actually feeling ok kind of full and I'm not hungry which is really weird.

But I did have a good “last supper” on Monday – Four slices of Pizza and a big cheese burger.

Will keep you update!

I am also on day one of my pre-op diet. I get 3 slim fast optima and one protein drink plus I can have all of the sugar free drinks, jello and popsicles I want. I don't know, I guess my teeth feel deprived of chewing...lol It's going ok though. Like you, I am not really hungry. I thought it would be alot worse. I love food. Like you, my last meal was pizza. I just keep trying to look at the big picture. Surgery date is May 14th. Can't wait...I love this web site, it is so much help..
