keep your eye on the prize

Ok I have not posted here in a while so here are all the updates . I have had all of the pre op stuff done the psych evaluation and the 4 hour pre op class and am now more ready than I have ever been ,I am awaiting word from my insurance to see if my surgery was approved or denied . If I am denied it will be pending 4 to 6 month weight loss history but in the mean time i am attending the support group for over weight people with the dieticion , so that I will have 2 of the 4 to 6 months done . My mother is also having the surgery done and she went thru all of the classes with me and she was approved and her surgery is april 15 so that is very exciting she is a diabetic and they said that is why her approval came so quick . Well that is where I am right now just waiting and that is the worst part so until next time i will eagerly waiting for the date that my new life will begin if you read my blog thank you very much for your time and posts ! :biggrin:

I hope you find out soon! My insurance was quick about approving me, but I know some takes longer. Your doing good by getting all your stuff done and making progress on the 6 month diet plan, just in case they come back and say you need that.

How fortunate you are to have your mother too - thats neat to have a buddy going thru it at the same time!
