Ok I have not posted here in a while so here are all the updates . I have had all of the pre op stuff done the psych evaluation and the 4 hour pre op class and am now more ready than I have ever been ,I am awaiting word from my insurance to see if my surgery was approved or denied . If I am denied it will be pending 4 to 6 month weight loss history but in the mean time i am attending the support group for over weight people with the dieticion , so that I will have 2 of the 4 to 6 months done . M
:smile:Hello , my name is samantha I am a 24 year old mother of 5 . I am just starting my journey to getting the lap band .And wanted to share my story . I was not over weight until I was 5 or so and after that I have always been over weight . My family called me count snackula , pie girl , and man cow instead of samantha . When I was eight I weighed close to 90 pounds ,when I was 14 I was 130 pounds ,and at 18 I weighed about 230 and now I weigh 310 . So I have tried many diets along the way an
