LAP-BAND Patients

It's sooo hard not calling the insurance company!!! But i don't want to pressure them. It just seems like an eternity waiting and it's only been 5 days! lol

LAP-BAND Patients

CALL THEM!!!! My doctors office told me "the day the claim is submitted, start calling, and call every day." she said to stay on their backs, she said the more you bug them, the faster they want to get you off their back. I called UHC 7 days after it was submitted and found that the surgery was authorized. My doctors office didn't even know yet. then I called my docs office and they called me back and "yep, you were right, everythings a go". now I'm waiting for the surgery coordinater to come back to work from her surgery so we can schedule MY surgery. Hopefully there is someone else there who can schedule, I'm waiting for a call return.
