Just decided to start this journal to my new life. I started this journey several months ago and have jumped through lots of hoops to make it to today. I have seen the diet person, the psycologist x2 and have taken the weird 2.5 hour test. Wow that was interesting. Went to the seminar and that was so helpful. I will be having the intense sleep study on the 8th of Aug. and the Respirarory test on the 9th of August. I have meet with my surgeon and I have one more meeting with her on the 8th of Aug. I have delt with the insurance company and the long wait for the approval. I recieved the approval. Yeah, and my surgery date with be Aug 20th 2007. I have read the book and done the computer generated things sent to me by my doctors office. I will soon begin the pre-op diet that will take me up to the date of my surgery..... Wow I can not believe that it is almost here......:whoo:until next time my friends....:car:

Congrads on your surgery date. i just joined this site today. Have been reading on it for about a week. I was banded on June 26th 2007 and go for my first fill on the 8th. I really need the fill can eat anything i want. Not a good thing. But after reading on this site have found out this is pretty normal. Good luck
