Well Im 7 months out, and this whole month I have lost maybe 2-3 pounds but I keep on losing the three it and gaining it back, I have no idea whats going on! I have had my slip-ups with eating, but for the most part I eat good. I still struggle to get in all the water I need to, Im not sure if that has something to do with it or not? I havent been tracking my food intake religiously, but from now on I will be.

My calorie goals will be 700 calories a day, as low carb as I can be, and at least 80 grams of protein a day.

I know when you get further out you lose slower, but no way I should be losing this slow, I still have about 80 something pounds I need to lose. I just hope that this week I will see a loss after tracking everything.

Hi Ashleyxx,

Have you tried working out as well. Sometimes working out will accelarate weightloss.

If you have been working out, I know of a lady that her weightloss was slow but it was because of her workout regimen, she also was doing weights.

I am sure you will get to your goal!! Don't get discouraged!

:-) I am 4 months post op and I am starting to see a slow down. Mostly because I haven not been working out. I need to start... I mean I walk but I feel that it is not enough. I am sure I will boost my weight loss if I work out.

Good Luck!

I am very bad at exerciseing! Thats one thing I need to make a everyday thing, I will do it a few times, then go weeks without doing any (I know, horrible).

I kinda figured once I lost a good amount I would want to and enjoy it, I think Im going to check out a few gyms, I have been thinking about the community center near my house, I hear they have a decent gym, plus I would be walking there which would be a plus lol.

Thanks for the comment though, I just felt so overwhelmed today, we just need to take it one day at a time.

You have lost so much weight. I hope you are proud of yourself for doing that! Give yourself credit girl!

Yeah it looks like you will have to step it up to get your weight loss going again, our bodies get used to things we do everyday and you have to change it up to get your body to respond differently.

Try and walk everyday at least 30 minutes or more if you can. I bought a couple of DVD's and I work out to them as well and I go to the gym but I am not by any means a gym rat - I have to push myself to do this.

Track your calories and up your water intake to 64 oz. Keep the carbs down if you can, summer is good for that a nice crisp salad for lunch!

Good luck!!

Thanks, I know I have, I would have never dreamed of losing 100 pounds before and I am proud of myself.

It gets to me sometimes when I see people that have had surgery around the time that I did, or started out weighing less then me losing weight so much faster then me! I always told myself pre-op I would not compare myself to others, but days I get down on myself I do.

I was very good on my water intake yesturday and weighed today and was down a pound, not sure if that has something to do with it or not, there are days I am really bad with my fluid intake.

Thanks for the nice comments everyone, no one I know in RL has surgery and sometimes they dont understand what we go threw so I am very happy to have this site and the support, it means so much to me :)
