2 Week Pre-Surgery Diet Starts Tomorrow

Not really sure where to start.. This is the first time I have ever "blogged" anything in my life.

I was approved for my surgery on Jan. 23rd, and my surgery is on Feb 16th. I start my 2 week pre op diet tomorrow.

Questions.. I have tons of questions. I dont know anyone personally that has done the sleeve.. I have many friends that have had lab-band.

So here are few for you all to help me out with.

I have chosen to only take a few days off instead of the suggested 2 weeks.... I work from home on a computer all day... I am a customer service rep BCBS. I have a fairly high tolerence for pain. So I am having surgery on Thursday morning, and returning to my home office job on Tuesday morning. I am wanting to get a general idea on most patients feel on their 5th day out of surgery?? Will i be pushing myself too fast??

Protien Shakes --- I hate the thought of buying a HUGE tub of it...and not liking it. What are some of the "preferred" or favorites???

Any suggestions / answers are apperciated.

Thanks!!

LAP-BAND Patients

If you email different protein powder companies a lot of them will send you samples of their products for little or no money. My favorite is Chike. www.chikenutrition.com You get 5 samples for about 7 bucks. Check the diet and nutrition thread on this site under protein powders for a list of places to get samples. I am pre op so I can't speak for how you will feel after surgery. Best of luck finding a protein powder you like! :)
